28 Jan The Dance
Marriage is a compromise, a lovely dance, where-in one partner dips a bit this time and another sways a bit next time. At our first Eureka wedding it was clearly the groom’s turn to dip and bend as he was a tall gentleman and the Bride a petite lady. The photos session found our groom bending a knee here and there so the couples faces touched cheek to cheek. Life will be full of times when she will give sway to his needs but this Eureka day it was clearly the grooms turn so he bent a little here and there for his pretty Bride and her smile told the rest of the story.
At our next Chapel wedding ceremony the Bride wore a beautiful gown with a scarf that wound around her neck and trailed over her shoulders. Accenting her outfit was a lovely mane of long dark hair which we switched from one side to other to place them cheek to cheek for their photographs. She mentioned that dresses weren’t her usual attire but she looked so lovely that thought would never have crossed my mind. The Eureka weather was cool but they weren’t daunted at all. I guess love was in the air and they too, were ready for their waltz through life.
